After one of the most painful, then most fast-paced and interesting off-season that left the fate of the 2011 NFL season in doubt, the 2011 campaign is ready to roll tonight in Lambeau Field in Green Bay as our New Orleans Saints take on the world champion Green Bay Packers.

The Packers come into tonight’s game stacked with almost all of their ferocious talent from their Super Bowl season and have also added talent from this off-season. They are at the top of every major power poll, and are picked by most NFL.com and NFL Network experts to at least reach the Super Bowl again this year.

The Saints come having lost fullback Heath Evans, Darren Sharper, for the time being, Chris Ivory to injury, and Jonathan Goodwin at the center position, but they now have a savvy 14 year NFL veteran at that position by the name of Olin Kreutz. Alex Brown is gone but Cameron Jordan, who was picked up by the Saints in the first round of the 2011 Draft will likely get time at the position. Former Packers fullback Korey Hall was also brought in to fill the void left by Heath Evans. Other than the few losses, and Lance Moore being out a week due to injury, the Saints also have the majority of their talent back and experts predict them to not only reach the Super Bowl, but win it. Four of seven experts from NFL.com and NFL Network have the black and gold recapturing the Lombardy trophy in 2011.

The saints will need great corner back play in this game to be able to beat the Packers high octane offense, and they will also HAVE to run the ball at least some to have a chance in this one.

Packers need big play from their big guns: Woodson, Mathews, and of course the 2010 SB MVP Aaron Rogers, and they need to strike fast to keep the Saints on there heels.

Everybody ready for this one, we’re approximately 6 hours from kickoff, GET SYCHED!! WHO DAT!!
