Cat Scratch Fever

Well it’s about time the Saints play a division opponent, dontcha think? The last time played someone in the NFC South was way back in Week 1, the Bucs. We finally have a say in the records of these jokes. I’m sick and tired of the NFC South being 45-0 and being 127 games ahead of us. It’s over. It’s time to taste the losses and play like you’re supposed to play. I know Atlata trying to keep that last place to first place streak goin’, but I’m going to stop it, through the Saints. I will personally carry the Saints to victory over every division opponent. I’m on a mission. A mission to put the NFC South back where they belong, starting this week.

We haven’t beaten the Panthers in two years. If we don’t win now…….. oh wait, there was that game last year, whatever; if we don’t beat them now, we might as well hang it up. Jake Delhomme’s going to taste the dirt twice, no interceptions, but the Panthers do actually punt enough for a viewer to realize the punter had some kind of job to do. Drew Brees will show some signs of Mickey Mouse, but will throw some passes beyond 10 yards and 3 of them will be bombs.

Now here’s some evidence that things are actually going right on the injury front. Marques Colston and Jeremy Shockey, after weeks of being absolutely no good, are getting healthy just in time for us to play some division opponents. That’s the good news, however. The bad news is these dicisions are left in the hands of a guy whose good decisions and skills have left him after 2006; Big Daddy P. Big Daddy P?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! OOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH NNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That’s the number one D-bag in the univer…….WHAT……..NO, LAST WEEK DIDN’T LET HIM OFF THE HOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARE YOU OUTSIDE YOUR MIND??????????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a better chance at winning the power ball and getting myself up to claim my prize without the services of a car and having to walk on two broken legs, than I do seeing these guys on the field at 97% healthy!!

BECAUSE THAT WOULD MAKE SENSE FOR THEM TO BE OUT THERE RIGHT?

Now, if they do play, of course we should destroy the Panthers, if the proper routs happen to be called. If not, well we could be handed a nice smelly turd by Sean Payton and I could write another one of those nice little post game posts on how the embarrassing impossible went down.

But that’s not going to happen, right BDP??????

Don’t get comfortable, Gary Gibbs, you’re still on my D-Bags list which means I still am ready to pounce on your EVERY Mistake! Besides, you have the special priviledge of still being on notice, on or off the list.

Due to the epiphany of WordPress, my on-site polls are back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. […] Reason To Care About This Game: Do you realize that seven weeks into the season, this will only be the Saints second division game? Without looking at other teams schedule, I’d like to boldly (and possibly stupidly) proclaim […]
