Locker Room: Dolphins Prep

Posted: August 25, 2008 in Saints

Someone please tell me what kind of chance the Miami Minnos stand against the “Fleur-de-lis D”. Don’t use it. It’s trademarked by JWD and if the Saints keep up the good work on the other side of the ball, the’ll earn that name full time. Right now they’re just renting it out. Since the major improvements seen against the Cinncinatti Convicts, one is driven to believe that an offense so vanilla as the Fins simply could not take certain blitzes from linebackers like Kevin However you spell that last name, or maybe the presence of a cornerback on the field for the New Orleans Saints. Tracy Porter or Aaron Glenn on occasion, perhaps. Maybe a strip here by Porter, or a knock down there by Glenn, or a ferocious charging, blood smelling linebacker known as Kevin, (crap, get a real last name, will ya) only having to run through a football field’s worth of space thanks to the preoccupation of the O-Line with Charles Grant and Kendrick Clancy to sack an unexpecting QB so damn hard he has to inhale the dirt through his busted up, broken bloody nose bleeding like Niagra Falls dyed red. Either way, the Dolphins are gonna be at Roger Goodell’s feet about outlawing preseason. Or at least the traditional Saints vs. Dolphins in the Superdome to close out the preseason. What is up with that? Why do we always end up playing the Dolphins at home to end the preseason? That’s what screwes us up every year. You go up against a creampuff you become a creampuff, Mr. Roger. Looks like you need to rearrange your little neighborhood. Otherwise, we’ll never make it back to the NFC Championship game. We’ll deal with it this time, but next time…………….

Now lets get to what I actually sat my lazy butt down for:

Saints Game Plan: Dolphins Prep

I say send about 25-30 linebacker blitzes. I want that QB out for 6 months. If there is ever a more vulnerable guy to sack, you know he has to be playing for the Dolphins. I’m sure it won’t be hard to get all 11 guys in the backfield at some point during the game.

Press Coverage: ALL NIGHT LONG. Press. Press. Press. Get right up on there routes. Give no cussion. It’s the only way you cornerbacks stand a chance trying to jump a route to intercept a pass. Leave cussion, and the only thing you can do is tackle.

Never thought I’d say this but you’re passing downfield too much. You exaggerated my gameplan. Take the 10-15 yard pass plays. Just don’t be throwing those swing routes to the fullback or halfback all the time. You’re not good with breaking tackes at the line of scrimmage, and you have to break many because the O-Line sucks at blocking on the outside.

Defensive Line: Two Words: Bobby McCray.

Tight End: Quick bein’ a butt head, Payton.

Halfback: Gain back some weight, Deuce. You’re starting to look like…………………….

Other halfback: Stay in the field of play. If you’re to scared to play football, go get a real job like the rest of us and do the world some good. You’re not doing it any good running straight to “little daddy P” to cry that you didn’t get to play in the endzone.

Okay, so now we’re ready to fire the grill up and cook some fish filet.

CHEF, COOK IT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
