Who Dat Say Dey Gonna Match Them Saints?

Posted by Jake on November 18, 2008

Who knew? Seriously, that the Hornets and Saints would have nearly identical records after 9-10 games in their respective leagues. That’s the case as the Hornets are 5-4 right now. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!

Not good. They dropped 3 of their last 4. Defense has been suberb, but for some crazy reason, the offense is out of rhythm and they can’t make shots. David West can’t hit the side of a barn right now.

Anyway, back to the people who only play once a week. I projected a relatively close game in this one. That is what I got. Tyler Thigpen throwing for All Star like yardage, BLAH BLAH BLAH, and Drew Brees MAKIN SOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMEEEEE PLAYS, well some. He only had between 200-300 yards passing in the game though, which will hurt a little going for what’s his face’s record.

Pierre Thomas had a big day which was surprising with 88 yards on the stat sheet. Deuce only had 13. I realized how bad the Saints running game was because it looked like Pierre was running for 120 yards and he really only had 88. It was a very pleasant site.

Living in New Orleans, I get that CST, that would be Cox Sports Television, which shows every Sean P Monday morning press conference live and in its entirety. That ol’ local news stuff only gives you those snip-its.

Luckily, my TV is still intact because nothing was thrown at it. That would be because a certain someone did not have the audacity to show up on my screen, that would be Gary Gibbs.

PS: Man, if anyone googles Gary Gibbs, thanks for the time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
