The Hornets roll to 4-0 after another convincing win Tuesday night 118-104 over the 2-1 Los Angeles Lakers in LA. Peja Stojakovic lead the team in points with 36 and Chris Paul with assists, 21. David West also had a big night with 22 pts 8 rebounds and an assist.
If they stay healthy, we might have a pretty good basketball club brewin’ up.
Their 4th in the power rankings at 3-0.
If this keeps up, the arena will start looking like actual games are being played, rather than looking like a few people out to watch practice. I’m embarrassed to see that. I’m ready to walk up to any of those people that could very well be in that arena and ring their freakin’ neck.
Up next: Portland Trailblazers (I know just enough about basketball and the Trailblazers to know that they’re Creampuffs) We should be 5-0 shortly.

I said it before, and here it is, your turning point.
Great performance by Brees throwing for 445 yards 3 TDs and 0 INTs. Record setting day for him.
Brees had 1 TD and 9 INTs in the first 4 games. Last 4, he’s had 11 TDs and 1 INT. How’s that for a turnaround!
Also gotta throw some love to the Superdome Bakery and Mike McKenzie for steppin’ up big on a 4th down play and for not only intercepting the “Queer” Gray pass but also taking it to the house. As you know, however, shoutouts don’t come easy here on JWD.com. McKenzie has been steppin’ up big the last few weeks and has really become a big-time defensive player.
Gotta also throw some on-the-down-low minor love to Jason Craft for being one of our defensive players who could actually play some defense in the backfield.
By no means am I letting the team 100% off the hook. We still have business to take care of. Like Reggie Bush said in today’s addition of Notable Quotes:
“Parmesan cheese, gouda cheese, Kraft single cheese, whatever it is, any kind of cheese, people want to feed us, It’s just staying focused and not allowing your head to get too big, because if you eat too much cheese you may get sick … especially if you’re lactose intolerant.”
